Altamont Club Welcome
Paris Mountain Neighbors,
The cold winter is behind us and here we are in a beautiful Spring. Everything is blooming and growing - including our traffic of cars, motorcycles and cyclists. So, let’s all be careful out there! Slow down and watch out for the other guy.
December, 2013 – December, 2014 was a busy year. Some of the highlights were the many bear sightings and an informational meeting by DNR in the spring, a lovely Summer picnic at Bill and Beth Rennigers, fall tree clearing project by the DOT, which really helped during the winter storms, the fall business meeting at Bocca’s, and a fabulous holiday party at Brian and Kelly McSharry’s. I hope you were able attend our social events – they give us an opportunity to meet and visit with our Paris Mountain neighbors from all over the mountain.
Our next event is the Summer Picnic which will be at Doris & Bob Santanello’s home on Sleepy Hollow on Saturday, July 18th. Save the date and be on the lookout for another announcement closer to the date so we can get a head count.
Please help keep the roadside clean in front of your homes and places where you walk where there is no one living. We’ll set up an official date in June.
We did have some break-ins this past year. Thank you to the many neighbors who shared about the break-ins, and the police for their diligence investigating and working closely with Neighborhood Watches. If your neighborhood doesn’t have one and you are interested, take charge and form a neighborhood committee!
Enjoy the Spring and Summer. The sunrises and sunsets have been beautiful. – here’s to many more!
